Our Country

Rebuilding and protecting our great nation takes personal commitment and the determination to defend that nation against all threats to national security and territorial sovereignty.

Christina believes in a strong national defense. She is pro-military and pro-veteran.

Christina believes we can have a capable intelligence network without violating the Constitutional protections against unreasonable search and seizure. We can still protect ourselves by taking constitutional measures.

The War on Terror should be waged with both “hard power” and “soft power” in a Constitutionally appropriate way. Christina is against closing GITMO, and believes that we should use all appropriate methods to gather intelligence. How long will this take? She believes that we should continue to pursue terrorists until there aren't any more.

The War in Iraq is being won by the hard work and valiant efforts of our men and women in uniform. We should honor that effort by allowing the troops to come home with honor when the military commanders on the ground know that the job is done.

How can you secure the nation if our borders are not secure? Christina is not only Anti-Illegal Immigrant but also Pro-Legal-Immigrant. The Federal Government must do its job of policing the borders. State government must act to curb illegal immigration in the face of Congressional inaction. In the meantime, we can all be a part of the solution by insisting that the companies we do business with hire legal workers.

Why does this matter? The USA continues to be the beacon of hope for people all across the planet. We must maintain national security and territorial sovereignty if we want to protect the most free, most prosperous nation on earth from those who would drag it down.
